We offer can't-easily-find-it-elsewhere goods, warm and personal service, and something else: the imprint of distinct human lives on brick and wood and Formica. People don't move to a neighborhood because Downunder Leather is in it, our hope is we will have touched their lives in a way that if they ever leave they will miss it. Blending with the quaint relaxed atmosphere of the Claremont Village we offer great leather goods which will be of benefit to our community, while touching people's lives.
Downunder Leather was formed by us, Bill and Gayle Smith to pioneer the Louis Cardini Leather bags from Australia to the United States market. We have been creative and flexible inventing as we go since 1994. Our path has included several wonderful horse shows all over the country, a small shop in the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, and now a great relaxed location in the historical Claremont Village. We appreciate the opportunity to bring quality leather goods to those seeking after them. In addition to our Louis Cardini bags we now have a compliment of Chaos, Ellington, and ADA bags.
